This album was apreciated by all listeners!
It has been greatly supported by ABC, regional radio, and numerous
FM stations, in particular KICK FM in Mareeba.
Ten to Midnight is still frequently on air.
I would have to thank the virtuousity, of my friend MR.GARY DOZIER
for the happy, tasty, powerful and sometimes tender feel of his
playing on this album. As he really co-produced TEN TO MIDNIGHT
with me and had the belief in my song writing from the start.
KENNY DEVINE, as allways, put in his masterful touch - in particular
the intro on CONCRETE BOXES,and the insane, tormented, solo on
NEVER COMING BACK. Weather playing guitar or keys KEN is a veritable
index of exciting, musical ability. And that,s no mentioning his
bass playing .Listen to CLOSER on MORE SNAKES THAN LADDERS.
Also I must mention MARLEY SHARP,who has played in my bands for
years .He is a very talented drummer, who has moved up to singer
, front ma, & actor! Check out his didge playing on the reconciliation
song MUNJUN sung in English and Tjapakai.Only an aboriginal can
play didge like that.
MAX PERKIN - superb drummer, extrordinary great engineer without
who I should never have got anywhere.
MAX also did all the harmonies on TEN TO MIDNIGHT.
JAY JAMES played the excellent sax in WITHOUT YOUR LOVE
MICK ROBINSON was the scorching harmonica on CONCRETE BOXES
This first album definately has more of a folky ,country rocky
crossover feel and I am glad to be at last able to offer TEN TO
MIDNIGHT to the world for the first time .Hope you all enjoy the
music,And thank you all for your support.
